Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, back to the drawing board we go

DisneyToon Studios is best known for their spin-offs of Walt Disney Animation Studios films, like the Tinker Bell and Planes series, or the execrable string of direct-to-video sequels to Disney movies released from the mid-nineties to mid-2000's. But around 2005, they had a different spin-off in development: an epic, dark prequel to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Disney People:
It's great that you found the time to consider an epic, grimdark prequel to Snow White, but can we just have another Ducktales movie, or maybe a trilogy of kickass Carl Barks-inspired Ducktales movies?
Thanks.

I'm still kind of mad that Disney never got it together to make the live-action wuxia "Snow White & the Seven Shaolin" movie (with Yuen Woo-ping on fight choreography) that they've been kicking around since the early '00s.

(sets up, delivers big fat meatball of a pitch, counts on someone to come through)
What do you think the plot might be for the next DuckTales movie?

Aw, but I have a soft spot for Bambi II. Partly because of the aesthetics, mostly because I love living in a universe wherein Patrick Stewart voiced the Great Prince of the Forest as hilariously underprepared deer dad.

However, Disney recently revived the concept of a dwarf-centered prequel to Snow White, only this time as a TV series: The 7D, coming to Disney Junior in 2014. From Fish Hooks creator Noah Z. Jones, the traditionally animated series gives the seven dwarfs a contemporary makeover and places them into the world of Jollywood, where they assist Queen Delightful in guarding the kingdom from zany villains Grim and Hildy Gloom.
If you'll excuse me, I think I need to go throw up. Like, forever.

Sebmojo, having six- and three-year-old girls, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the not-terribleness of all the Tinkerbell movies. Not fine art, but my kids watch much worse sometimes.

How about a nice, quiet, little sequel to "Song Of The South"?

Interesting read, but I think I'll take it with a bit of salt, as all of the reports of this movie's awesomeness seem to come from the one guy who tried to make it.

To be fair, though the executives' ideas WERE legit horrible.
(seriously, how does this ALWAYS happen?)

The Tinkerbell movies are actually perfectly decent, with some notable flashes of style, good clean plotting and good characters.
Having a five year old daughter means I say this from a viewpoint of deep, thorough and relentlessly repeated experience.
