Gigo-what? Europe's first brothel for women goes bust.

"But they didn't ask for money until afterwards and the women only paid for what they thought the service had been worth."

<rim shot/>

i'm not sure what's better, that line "or the media celebrated it as Europe's first brothel for women." european papers widely report on brothel openings? that's too cool.

Note to self: Get money before sex.

It says "the media celebrated it" -- I'd bet the journalists celebrated it. An excuse to visit and write about a whorehouse? A number of them probably went there "in the wake of" lunch.

Looks like I'll have to start paying for my own bikini-speedos, chest hair mascara and hair gel.
Nothing lower than a displaced gigolo

lostbyanecho: Clarification, please. What do you mean by "Gigo-what?" Garbage-in-garbage-out? Gigolo?

Jonathan Gash's "Different Women Dancing" began a series set in a grim future featuring "goers," heterosexual call-boys, and their urbane female customers. (The women pay by charge card in advance, as I recall.)

chaz: Thanks. Sometimes the generation gap here is just too wide for me.
