"The twist here is that this is not an actual fighting game, it’s a Whac-a-mole title, one of those games where little heads pop up and you have to use a hammer to hit them back into the ground. The whole machine is Street Fighter II themed, the moles are Bison (Vega) characters and the on-screen characters play out a fight based on your performance."

Wow, MAME is so freaking cool. I swear I saw a similar game in Akihabara but the charas were from Konan or Clannad or one of those shows. I was more in to Comic Party.

Holy crap! I saw one of these years and years ago in Osaka and I thought it was just the craziest thing (and also it taught me the kanji for "mole," which is a fun thing to impress native speakers with, because plenty of people don't know how to write it)
