Did Bungie Software release their April Fool's joke ahead of schedule and under budget?
I downloaded the 100 meg behind the scenes movie (yes, I wasted my bandwidth to see what it was about), and this looks like a complete joke. In the behind the scenes interview with the developing team, they talk about how they expect this game to be bigger than Halo and even how they're going to make a movie about this game and so forth... Then when you see the developing team getting together to sing the theme song... Oh man... It gets ugly.

Damn I hope this is real. Talk about original! This would be the only game I'd play, I'm sure of that.

Don't waste your time downloading the video. Boring. Plus, it's fake. Or else these guys just naturally sound like really bad actors.

This was their April Fool's Joke LAST year. I have no idea why it's been making the rounds the past few days.

There's a wee bit more info here. Funny stuff. You gotta like: "Unique Tooth Powerup system allows you to increase your pimpin' skills!"

Guess they are trying to compete with Grand Theft Auto, a game where you steal cars and have sex with hookers. We'll be seeing all sorts of cutting edge software now.
