I can't see "ROYGBIV" without hearing the song by They Might Be Giants.

I can't see "ROYGBIV" without hearing the song by Boards of Canada. (Here in my favourite mix, although the original has very much to recommend it.)

I feel the same way about Boards of Canada.

Some of pixar's earliest work on renderman had a lot to do with ambient light and the way it changes color. I wonder if that legacy is part of the reason for the prevalence of this powerful technique in their work.

I more or less missed indigo and violet. Seemed to go: green, blue, (then very briefly pink), end.
