SIMILO. "2065. The entire planet is hit by the effects of climate change. One of the few places that remain habitable is Antarctica, where corporations have built private cities. Hebe and Ciro get back together again. She is looking for love. He is searching for his own identity." [NSFW, Via]

Heh, I followed the multi-year saga of making Similo over at dvxuser - even getting it finished took a long, long time.

That was very beautiful and well done, yet also kind of all over the place with regard to whatever the underlying theory was of how these AI robots work, what exactly happened to the climate, and a lot of other external details.

So was the point that both of them were robots? That everyone starting the white outfits were robots? That would eXplain the barren nature of her apartment.

One thing I'm looking forward to in the future is the breakthrough technology that keeps white stuff so clean.

I think she's human. I assume the robots dress the same as humans so that the humans feel they're part of the group and are as comfortable as possible with them.

Singularity-based/utopian future: all-white everything and gorgeous tailoring.

Armageddon-based/dystopian future: we all get mohawks, smoke cigarettes and practice cannibalism.

This falls somewhere on the Option 1 spectrum.
