I liked the carpets, but I thought an artist would have a better sense of contrast and know not to use a light green font on a white background. I was wrong.

He should make some modeled after the moon or Mars. Who wouldn't benefit from that?

I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were as low as they were ($1200 and $2100, depending on the design); that's still out of my price range but not nearly as expensive as I was expecting. Of the available designs, the Africa carpet was the one that I would love to own.

Why doesn't he use synthetic yarn, no one can tell the difference from the real thing. Du Pont nylons are pretty damn good and a lot cheaper than natural fibre.

Because wool is wears better, it feels nicer under your feet, it doesn't do the creepy static thing, it doesn't impart chemically smell weirdness into your home, and maybe because he's making a connection between landscapes and natural materials.
