Weeds:
This is a series of paintings of weeds, some of them on-site animations, created as a tribute to the resilience of all those beings who no one made room for, were not part of the plan, and yet keep coming back, pushing through and rising up.A project by Mona Caron
I had a couple of tabs saved to post this yesterday, and I didn't get to it -- thank you for posting this!
Here's an additional link with the animations of the paintings. I love her stuff. This is one of my favorites that I am fortunate enough to see on a regular basis.

These paintings are wonderful! I'm used to the standard size of botanical illustrations, so the sheer scale of these works was quite startling. I'll watch out for Mona Caron's work in future.

In an ideal world, I would hire this woman to paint the outside of my house.
The size of some of the pictures is giving me shades of The Day Of The Triffids (the original, with John Duttine, not the 2009 version). They're much better than some random graffiti tag, though.
