The B-list of bad has an axis to grind -- According to one of Canada's national newspapers, Libya, China and Syria today announced they had formed the "Axis of Just as Evil," which they said would be way eviller than that stupid Iran-Iraq-North Korea axis President George W. Bush warned of in his State of the Union address.
Not only was this article in the paper today, it actually made the front page.

G. W. Bush should have taken something into account here -- in calling these countries the "Axis of Evil" he was comparing them to the Axis from World War II. That means he was comparing one of them to WW2 Germany, which means he was comparing its leader to Hitler. So, by Godwin's Law he has lost the argument.

A skit based on that article would have made a fine companion to the Mr. Neutron bit on "Monty Pyton's Flying Circus." That's the one where the "really, really dangerous" Mr. Neutron (Graham Chapman in an awful yellow superhero outfit) spends his time in England shopping and gardening and falls off of the Americans' radar, prompting a panicked U.S. general (Michael Palin) to tell an underling, among other things, "Surround everyone! With everything we've got!"
Seems like it'd go nicely with the Axis of Not So Much Evil Really As Just Generally Disagreeable.

Okay, that's spray-your-coffee-on-the-monitor hilarious, right up there at Onion level. Thanks for the great link!
The "Axis of Not So Much Evil Really As Just Generally Disagreeable." Reminds me of Dilbert's Phil, Prince of Insufficient Light.

Perhaps President Bush should just darn them all to heck.
