A Night under No Man's Sky

Post-rock band 65daysofstatic play a live soundtrack to a video of space adventure game No Man's Sky.
This is basically an ad :(
Still, can't wait to try this game. It'll be the first time I ever bought an online multiplayer game, because my perception is that OM is 99% goons and griefers. Guess we'll see.
(Is that guitar player pretending to play, or is this a new playing style of which I am unaware?)

This version of the live performance video appears to be freely viewable, for those of you having trouble with the link in the FPP.

(I think it's the 'buttload of delay and reverb pedals' style.)

Sounds a lot like Spore's space phase. It might be worth checking out.

I suspect people who buy NMS for online multiplayer are in for disappointment.
This game is so mind-bogglingly huge that the chances are you will never even see another player. And if you DID happen to, you've no way of distinguishing that player from an NPC.
This is not procedural EVE Online. It isn't "fly with your buddies" Elite. It SURE isn't whatever Star Citizen is becoming. It's a game about exploration, about travel and discovery, about soaking in the vastness of interstellar distances.
I'm stupidly excited to get my hands on it.

Likewise, BOP. I expect I'll only get multiplayer enjoyment out of it if I schedule runs with buddies or my kids.
If I get punked by griefers three times in a row I'll probably stop playing, and that would be sad.
