Cooking with Christopher Walken Spoiler: They roast a chicken.
What I want is to see is Willem Dafoe Fishing with John Lurie for a trout which they will cook with Chris Walken and his supermodel backup singers, who then invite their old friend Robert Palmer over to eat and have a post meal jam which will be memorialized by Patrick Nagel. Christ. Really, is that too much to ask?

I know it's probably supposed to be a sly Robert Palmer reference or something, but there's something really creepy about the the women as prop 'assistants', especially the way the one is mocked for having a hard time with the corkscrew.

My favorite part was the assistant trying (but failing) to explain how a lever works to the one opening the bottle.

Do not understand. If I were one of those supermodel throwbacks to the Robert palmer video I would be super annoyed at having agreed to do this. I mean they are hardly acknowledged by these two old guys and its just creepy. Normally I find Christopher walken's quirkiness fun but not here.

Yeah, the assistants added nothing but a weird creepy vibe. But Old Bay all over that bird, that is proper yum.

That Walken seemingly doesn't know how to use a waiter's friend (watch him yank that cork out) is much more mockable than someone who grew up in the age of widespread single-twist corkscrews not knowing.
Maybe the mockery was intended as good natured teasing, but given the power dynamics and objectification involved, it came across, on film, really, really, badly. Which is a shame because there was a goat.

"Old Bay is not good" is fightin' words in these parts. Those of us who grew up on the Chesapeake Bay believe Old Bay was handed down by God.
Also, this video was, unfortunately, meh.
