The bands Sparks and Franz Ferdinand have combined into a new group, FFS. This morning, they released Piss Off, their first single.

Going to see FFS on their tour in a couple of months - this song makes it sound like it's going to be a lot of fun.

I had not heard about FFS being a thing, and it is wonderful. Rory, I still owe you big time for turning my Sparks-curiosity into a full-blown fandom with your career-retrospective post from last year. Posting this everywhere today.

This is definitely more Sparks-y than Franz Ferdinand-y but I completely dig it.

I was certain it would be a joke, given the date.

Huh, it sounds more like classic Sparks than recent Sparks stuff, since they're recording with a band here. Kind of cool!

Wait are Sparks touring with Franz Ferdinand? I am seeing them in Pittsburg next month and that would be awesome to see Sparks too.

I heard it on the radio last night and thought it was brilliant. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the intro, so I had no idea who it was. This post just saved me from a bunch of googling.

New song out, and holy shit. I'll be honest, I was not 100% sold after Piss Off, but this is one of the best new songs I've heard in a while.
