Today's TV and movies as 80s VHS covers. Worth it for the Breaking Bad one alone.

I feel like at least one of these covers should have been done poster art style, instead of with movie stills.

That photo from Dexter still has the wrong lighting for the period. Interstellar's definitely got the wrong font (should be more arty, like Alien).

Grand Budapest & Gravity are great. Walking Dead looks like a lost Romero.

Game of Thrones' visual is pretty spot on for an early '80s BBC miniseries, but the font's wrong. I think they would have gone for generic medieval-style font, instead. Think Camelot.

These are great, and on a related subject, can I just say how much I love the opening credits for Better Call Saul? Not even the Monopoly-card / 50s diner main logo (though that is great too), but the blocky, flashing text from an old analog video editing rig. It lends the perfect "I just threw this together at the Cable Access station" atmosphere to the show.

The Game of Thrones font could be wrong but the crap kerning is a work of art.

The GoT one definitely feels like a show/movie that made the set and costume designers famous and killed everyone else's career.

The "HQ" burst on The Wolf of Wall Street is a perfect touch.

Love it. Some of the attention to detail is really great. It looks like they actually printed these out and inserted them into old VHS boxes, then photographed them. Nice touch.
