nytimes.cat is one of the strangest sites I've seen in some time. I have no idea how these people got their cats wedged into their newspaper, or why.
this isn't related to Catalan culture at all!!

Hank Greenberg is looking pretty good for 90.
The new Buccaneers draft pick is a real cutie!
And this is a very odd form of transportation. No seats indeed.

Is this where I confess that I tried to get a domain name for my cat, Ada? I tried www.ada.cat and www.adacat.com, BUT THEY WERE BOTH TAKEN!

I saw a kitten almost falling over in a loop accompanied by the headline "Police ‘Rough Rides’ as a Form of Justice" and was very confused.
A quote from that article: “It’s one of those nebulous type of things where the individual feels they’ve been subjected to it because they’ve been mouthy. The officers say they have no intent in doing anything. It winds up in a he said-she said situation.” There should be no "he said-she said" here; the officer should be responsible for the suspect's injuries regardless of whether they were due to recklessness or malicious intent.

So this site completely froze my iPhone. Couldn't close the tab, or Safari, or switch to anything. Could be a dying iPhone 4, or could be some very mobile-unfriendly coding.
