OMG the first video makes it seem like they are super close to the water and I WAS VERY NERVOUS but the behind the scenes one shows a better shot of the setup and they look v safe from drowning. yay

Who knew hamsters and hedgies liked fruit smoothies? Makes sense I guess, since they like fruit, but I wouldn't have thought of it. Guess that's why I don't have a lucrative multi-billion-dollar hamster-video empire....

It's not obvious from the main video, but the behind-the-scenes reveals that some of the dishes on the pupu platter include little crickets and mealworms. Yum yum! I do love the way they keep it authentic for the tiny creatures while making it look cute for the humans.

At 1:10, the hamster continues to eat more voraciously than I could ever have predicted such a tiny mouth could eat, while the hedgehog is passed out on the bar. It's mega adorable, and it reminds me of me and my wife. (She's the hedgehog after two drinks, and I become defenseless against french fries.)

Somehow I'd caught all of the previous videos except for the one where the tiny hamster gets in a hotdog-eating contest with Kobayashi. I'm glad to have corrected this oversight.
