Thank you so much! I remember first hearing "He'll Have To Go" on record and just being blown away at the amalgam of country and Norteño so perfectly alloyed that it became the definitive version for me. These guys were so ahead of the curve here, so out there, in 1974, it just blows my mind to this day.
And Austin City Limits is a national treasure. It's a pity these shows going back decades aren't widely available.

Sounds like the battery on Ry's fuzz was dying or something at the end? Anyways, it's all about Flaco! I love how other than the opening song Ry is just kinda there. What a great accordion solo on "La Bamba."
