Wow, yes, I had never heard of stepwells until I read this, now I'm lost in an Atlas Obscura article and Google Maps' satellite imagery.

Reminds me of echochrome, man that game kept me busy for weeks. The user created levels were hit or miss but there were some very imaginative ones.

The Navajo should pull the plug on the name of this game. Copyright infringement. Theft of sacred place name.

I'm pretty sure "Monument Valley" isn't the Navajo name for it. (I was right, the Navajo name is "Tsé Biiʼ Ndzisgaii") Also, you can't copyright place names, the name is older than the current copyright term, etc.
