Take a pixel tour of the universe with French cartoonist Boulet (previously on metafilter). Soundtrack: Le grand pan • Roxanne • Message in a Bottle. Bonus: Pixel quantum physics.
Boulet est magnifique.
One of my greatest regrets during the five years I spent living in the townships of Eastern Quebec was never going to the Mont Megantic Dark Sky Reserve. Stars are so hard to see in the city these days, much less planets.

reminds me little a bit of patrick farley's overheard at the rave! also btw re: quantum physics and (the elder) gods, since i just finished reading the flicker men (which was pretty good, but not quite as mind bending as, say, quarantine) here're a few tweets i recently came across :P
- "No religion or extant philosophy offers the guidance humans will need to fulfil our destiny in the next 200 years. We must improvise." --@azizonomics
- "You know what's depressing? The Cthulhu mythos is actually a more accurate depiction of reality than most popular religions." --@Noahpinion
- "Where does personality end and brain damage begin?" - Doug Coupland
- "Where does personality end and technological self-enhancement begin?" --@Noahpinion
Nobody has the right to be that good at pixel art.
