Arthur Heming, the Canadian painter who — having been diagnosed with colourblindness as a child — worked for most of his life in a distinctive pallete of black, yellow, and white.

I had never heard of him before, but I really enjoyed seeing his work. It's amazing how clear the plots seem in his paintings. Every one of them feels like it belongs in an adventure novel for pre-teen boys, but at the same time, is way more sophisticated than that.

Wow, that was great. I've never hear of him but I loved seeing his work and I'll seek it out in the future.
