Polish artist Jakub Rozalski, aka“Mr. Werewolf,” paints serene and idyllic rustic landscapes of what seem to be Eastern Europe in the early 20th century, featuring the prominent and inexplicable existence of completely fictitious giant mecha robots. (via Dangerous Minds)

The painting subjects generally appear to be Polish, so Knockov Smirnov jokes wouldn't really fit anyway.
I'd like to think the winged hussars are out to take down that mech with their bazookas, and given their engagement history, they're likely to be successful.

These are amazing.
I haven't done any serious gaming in years, but if the in-game universe actual looked like these watercolors, mood and all, I would seriously reconsider.
