Gift Up is by a Los Angeles-based comedy troupe Local Business and is a re-imagining of Give Up—the Postal Service’s classic album—as a Christmas record:
The North Pole Sleeps Alone Tonight
Such Great Flights
Sleeping In (On Christmas)
Children's Letters [Featuring Mrs. Claus]
Recycled Gifts
Clark Griswold
We Will Munch Gingerbreads
This Workshop’s A Prison
Brand New Christmas Tree
Christmas Anthem

I adore this so much.
I love the postal service, but they are pretty much the perfect band to give this treatment to.

Hey, it's a fun album, I'd love to hear their treatment of it .. but what about This Place is a Prison? "Pretending there's good will, I'm scared of Krampus, when you're building by candle light."
Well played, Local Business, well played.

This amazing. They did an amazing job of replicating the sound and singing style too. At first I didn't realize I was listening to a parody.

Two songs in and my wife said, after trying to sing along to the original lyrics, said she was preparing divorce papers, and wanted to make sure I didn't pay money for that.
Parody music success!

If Kanye West decided to make a Christmas album where he believed he is Santa Claus, it would be this: Kreezus, last year's comedy/parody by Local Business.
