The George Kaiser Family Foundation and the University of Tulsa have acquired a huge trove of documents, tapes, and film from Bob Dylan. The (NYTimes) article describes many of the goodies.

I hope they have a share-off, seeing who can post the best Dylan bits. Everyone wins!
But honestly, I wonder how much we can hear from the tapes and how much will be claimed like prior copyright grabs by Columbia Records.

I hope they have the basement of the basement tapes, containing the early first drafts of the songs from that great album, including ("So I wouldn't Feel So All Alone) Everybody Must Get High on Marijuana."

Not only is this cool Dylan news, but George Kaiser sounds like someone I need to learn more about (as the son of an Okie mother whose father was a consultant to the oil industry).
