Rita Moreno rocked the house with her commencement address at Berklee College of Music, where she included some rap inspired by another famous Puerto Rican.
Needs an IS NOT DEAD tag. My heart skipped a beat.

Like Morgan Freeman, she IS the Electric Company, and little else (to lots of people my age, anyway).

I enjoyed listening to that but I wasn't able to watch it because she kept doing that thing with her hands and I know it's a thing that is done but it just seemed kind of awkward.
She rules. 84? Shit. She's as old as my mom. I wish my mom could rap like that.

Until you've watched Oz.

That's a commencement address that actually has a chance of being remembered by the graduates in ten years time. There are some splendid addresses out there, but that is the highest possible praise one can give a commencement address - that it will be remembered.

Rita Moreno has an EGOT.
She was also in one of the all-time best Muppet performances.

Counterexample! I remember mine, almost 30 years later, and it was terrible. It was Sen. Sam Nunn droning on about his national service plan, which ultimately became AmeriCorps. I remember thinking "God, this is boring. Will he ever finish?". Remembering it is not the highest possible praise.

Sorta would loose the effect in those silly robes.
That was just clever and charming.

She's so awesome. Speak truth to power! Yaaaas!
I worked with her on a show once, and I let all the appropriately-aged staff know to NOT go up to her yelling "HEY, YOU GUUUUYYYYS!" I did manage to tell her that she just killed it in Singin' in the Rain (where she plays the friend of Lina Lamont and "Clara Bow" avatar Zelda) and she thanked me! It was a small part, but she was excellent in it. I wish she'd had more to do in that film.
One day I answered the phone on set, and it was her husband. I got her on the phone, and from the side of the convo I could hear, he was asking her what she wanted him to make her for dinner. Awwwww!

But...why did no-one beatbox for her?!

Sure, I loved her first as the Electric Company, but it was eclipsed when I saw the film of West Side Story, which made a much more important and lasting impression on me as a wee musical theater enthusiast. She's first and foremost Anita as far as I'm concerned.
