I don't often have cause to be glad about slow internet speeds, but while I was waiting for the video to load, I rethought my life choices, and you know what, maybe I don't need to see this, so I clicked away.

I forwarded this to a friend and warned her to (1) pee before watching and (2) not eat or drink while watching. She later wrote a text to me that she cried and her ribs hurt from laughing. I know exactly how she felt.

To the extent that I am a person, yes, I think people do. Tooth straightening, whitening, veneering and such, does, in some contexts (like this), become a bit disturbing. I don't think it's a meme, is it? Maybe I have contracted it unwittingly.
