It's important to believe and respect what people say about their own lives. Your experience is different from hers, Yowser, but that doesn't mean her experience isn't as she describes it.

I've seen this show- it's great. She's interesting, unpredictable, at times very moving, and extremely funny. Definitely recommend.

I'm not a fan of the whole "disabilities are actually a good thing!" crowd. She believes in this pervasive myth that disabilities are good for you creatively - speaking as someone with a couple of invisible disabilities, I just want to scream at this kind of thing..
