It was a very popular game commissioned by Polyphonic Spree in 2008 to promote their album and was notable at the time for its prettiness and unusual gameplay. (I rule not-spam. I also never beat it.)

I saw these guys live at a festival and it was the one of the most energetic and fun experiences I've ever had at a show. I went home to find some of their studio stuff and, upon success, desperately wanted to find another live show near by. Certainly the inverse of the typical experience, at least in mine.

Walkthrough for "Quest for the Rest"
(I used it for Chapter 1, because I was at a complete loss for how to get anything to happen. Managed to muddle through Chapters 2 & 3 on my own.)

This is a cool performance. I never dug too deep into the Polyphonic Spree, mostly because I couldn't listen to them without I've Got A Girl instantly starting and playing on loop in my brain. Tim Delaughter did give me one transcendent experience though: Finding the lyrics to Bill was my first extra-audio easter egg and changed the way I consumed pop music. I eagerly lifted the CD tray on all subsequent purchases right up until I bought Undertow.

Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb was my jam in high school. Then the Spree took it even further. Thank you!

I never really got into Polyphonic Spree, but anyone who likes their style should check out Bodies of Water.
