Video tour of legendary designer George Lois's Greenwich Village apartment. Also in the series so far: Florence Welch, Glenn O'Brien, others.
Ooh. This is like a polite version of MTV Cribs.

Few can use the word "fuck" that many times and make it seem like that's the only word that works. I disagree with him on "Pollock being bullshit" but fuck! The man obviously has great taste in art, women, books, language, beds, heroes and apartments. I hope one day to have mastered life to that degree.

Who knew George Lois was a one woman man? I always thought he would have been a player.

There is an episode of Charlie Rose's show filmed in John Richardson's loft. It's delightful, if you like this sort of thing, to watch Richardson lead Rose through a gorgeous loft filled with a lifetime's worth of art, and books, and furniture. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be online any longer.
I did love Glenn O'Brien's description of his books as "insurance."
