A pleasant album by Equip called I Dreamed Of A Palace In The Sky harkens back to the classic jrpg osts by Nobuo Uematsu and Yasunori Matsuda.

This is glorious. And I thought Metroid redone with real 80s synths was going to be my gaming music love of the day.

I don't understand how Dream Catalogue (the label who is putting out this release) finds these bands and releases their music at such a feverish pace. It seems like every week there is some new vaporwave group releasing something that sounds like it should have originally been available on CD-ROM or VHS.

And the quality is so consistent. I think they must have hacked time or something.

These first few tracks sound more Rare than Square to me, but they're real good.

Going through the creator's twitter is fun. It has them highlighting some of their inspirations, as well as some cool custom art for the album.

garius, I think your clipboard ate whatever you were trying to link there. I'm guessing it was this?
