You may not have realized it yet, but you've always wished that your favorite pop and rock standards from the 70's and 80's would be covered in an EZ-listnin', Outsider Art, Sludge Metal fashion. Good news: Alvin and the Chipmunks already gotcha covered. If you have an original Chipmunks LP, and a turntable that can rotate the disc at 16 RPM, you're almost home. ≈ Some examples: Blondie's "Call Me" ≈ Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' "Refugee" ≈ ...and between those two classics, someone's sandwiched six sludgy samples: "Chipmunks On 16 Speed - Sludgefest"
