Man, either this is really well curated or I am a genius for choosing Touch the Sky/I Miss You and 99 Problems/Island in the Sun right off the bat.

Oh lord. As an unassuming middle class white girl who occasionally listens to hip hop and loves every song in the group on the left, nothing closer approximates how out of place I feel when I listen to hip hop than layering it over anemic, whiny pop punk. Too real you guys.

"X Gonna Give It To You" and "A Thousand Miles" is more than the sum of its parts, and I love its parts.

You can only match certain songs, so, well-curated.

I'm kinda in love with "Get Low" and "Take Me Out".

Actually, "Get Low" with anything is pretty good.

Please let this be the beginning of the turntable.fm reboot. All I've ever wanted was a massively multiplayer Girl Talk simulator.

I can't get the drag to work. Any suggestions?

Yeah, this isn't automatic at all (which is what I was worried about when I first saw it -- I've never seen a decent mashup algorithm in my life)

As someone who's made a TON of mashups before and was really into the scene back when it was big, they're all decent, though some of them are pretty messy; the looping on instrumentals like Take Me Out and Over My Head have pretty abrupt cuts, and there's not much effort made to tweak some of the vocals like 99 Problems to make them sit better in the mix. However, there's still effort in making the structure of the mashups fit the structure of the vocals which was a shockingly common mistake back then, and for that I genuinely appreciate it.

What I don't understand is why you can't put all of them together. When you've put in the effort to beatmatch the vocals and figure out decent-to-workable instrumental loops of the songs, it's not a tough step to just finish off the entire set of permutations -- especially when you're not putting a bunch of effort into making sure they fit super well.

You can't drag any song on the left to any song on the right. Start to drag a song on the left. Some of the songs on the right will turn yellowish. That's your range of targets.

Came here to say that this was the extra super power move out of all possible outcomes here.

Coming back to comment that "X Gonna Give it To You" and "Bring Me To Life" begins kinda like an avant-garde spoken word performance, but then gets really awesome.
