There's a new Spookey Ruben album? How did I not -- LAST OCTOBER? Gaaah!

This is very exciting.

I kinda wish there was some sort of connective "why?" tissue behind the multiple language versions of this... just Spookey being Spookey? Some sort of grander artistic vision?

I think if you're asking "Why?" about Spookey Ruben, the most you could possibly expect in return is a "Why not?"

Wow!

Haven't thought about this fellow in a long time. I remember recording These Days are Old off of Much Music onto cassette. Once I realised I could do that worlds opened up for making mix tapes. Even if the levels were always super low.

Great stuff.

I went to film school with Spookey. I remember he threw a TV out a third story window and that his real name is Alan. He was a quiet, odd man.

I fully appreciate that each language's video was different in scenes where he's mouthing the words. Dedication!
