John Clarke, one of Australia's last great satirists, dies at 68.
New Zealand-born Clarke will be familiar to just about anybody who has ever been on the internet by virtue of this timeless skit with his long-time collaborator Bryan Dawe. Together they wrote and starred in the mockumentary-before-mockumentaries-were-cool The Games, the impeccable scripts for which you can read here.
One of Clarke's final roles will be alongside Australia's second-last great satirist, Shaun Micallef, in the upcoming season of The Ex-PM.
