Did you forget to send a blue mountain card to Saddam?

Did you forget to send a blue mountain card to Saddam? I'll just bet you did. And it was his 65th. Still time to send those birthday greetings. It might be the last one he gets to celebrate.
Sweet that gives me what, 70 days to work on that fiancee thing...

I heard that one ten years ago.

And the guy who said it had almost the same name. Only, no "W". Curious...

The joy of sharing my birthday with Harper Lee is completely obliterated by the horror of sharing it with Saddam.
Though I am encouraged that perhaps one day I can have mass public demonstrations of love and affection towards me every April 28. The whole need to become an insane despot first is the only thing getting in my way.

Mayorbob, I sincerely doubt this'll be his last birthday.
Seeing as we've repeatedly failed to kill Saddam over the past ten years and we've allowed bin Laden to escape from right under our nose, I should imagine Mr. Hussein is already planning next year's party.

I hope this doesn't lead to Mystress Dreama's Nightmare Dungeon. But a safe and sane happy undisciplined birthday just the same Ms. despot candidate.
I sure hope we don't invade Iraq--that nightmare scenario outlined by a former Pentagon war planner quoted in Seymour Hersh's New Yorker article is chilling: we invade and when push come to shove, some back to the wall local Scud unit commander with nerve gassed or anthraxed warheads, with nothing left to lose, decides to pop one off to Tel Aviv or Haifa on his own say so. Yay, we win. Boo, unfortunate collateral damage. Then we can all read the warblog spin the next day. Whee.

Couples gathered in Baghdad on Thursday for a mass wedding of 300 couples as part of Hussein's birthday celebrations
When is W’s birthday, by the way?
