Milton would be proud! Swingline has finally seen the light and is making candy apple red staplers as is seen in Office Space. People on ebay have been making a mint repainting other colors to be the desired red color for a couple years, Swingline decided that nothing is like the real thing and has started prodcution of this color, via only the website I think. We got ours today in the mail I'm so giddy I think I'm gonna pass out.
we seem to have MeFied the server.

I always thought it was "and they were married". I had beautfiul visions of a squirrel wedding.
You can't take that away from me, dammit!
And thanks, golkhus, for sucking all the fun out of the thread.

This is the sort of business opportunity the Internet creates that all the hoo-doo New Economy prognosticators never talked about.

The stapler is a symbol. It's the object of power that allows Milton to feel good about himself and get through his day in a miserable office job. It's not "a friggin stapler," it's one man's life jacket.
For cubicle geeks like me, that stapler is a fucking icon. We joke about it around here at least once a week. I'd love to buy one.
