well, if "ne pas" and "n'pas" are supposed to be short for the french "n'est-ce pas", then I can assure you you have to pronounce all the letters. yes, i'm french. won't surrender.
then again, if it's not supposed to be that, then... oh well. end of thread madness blah blah blah...
