This is pretty delightful. Both Charlie and Daddy are about 5 or 6 months younger than lilozzy and I (lilozzy is 3 and a half, uncleozzy is 37), and this is pretty much like looking (listening?) into the recent past. Although my kid absolutely won't perform on cue. She is a hell of a conversationalist though; she went through a stretch where instead of napping at preschool, she just sat up and chatted with the teachers while the other kids slept.

That was way less annoying than I anticipated, even cute at times, but I think I'm done after two.

Yeah I'm not clicking on these because I miss that age so much that I will instantly start crying.

Oh hai, fellow parent to chatty tot! I keep having to remind myself that my almost 3 year old is not yet 3, so while his verbal skills are growing by leaps and bounds, his logic is still pretty basic.

I love these - 100% the absolute best McElroy Podcast Empire show and Charlie is a strong argument that radio/podcast production skills are somehow genetic - but they're 'unlisted' on youtube, i.e. can be viewed via links but not searched for. I know they're produced for a reason and shared around the McElroy facebook groups and subreddits... but then they're also unlisted for a reason, presumably to avoid a show about a 3 year old girl getting the wrong sort of attention.
Mefi users are good people but could making a post about it push the show out of the weird semi-private state it's in now, with negative repercussions? Genuine question because I'm not sure myself. Are we good?

ocular shenanigans, I wrestled with that myself before I posted it. Justin posted all the epiodes (up to #7) on the My Brother My Brother and Me Appreciation Group on Facebook, which is a public group. They're also on reddit, as you mentioned. For those reasons (and because it's just audio), I figured it was OK to post. I welcome the discussion, though.

Justin posted the latest episode on his own, public, Twitter account so I don't think they're supposed to be private in any way. Just kind of hidden on Youtube itself.

Thanks for posting. These will keep me busy on tomorrow's morning jog. Wish I'd taped my own kids at this age. So fun.

Let's not spoil this feel-good post by bringing up the grim family curse which Justin has recklessly imposed upon his offspring?

One thing I like about these is Justin (and Sydnee) always talk to Charlie like a normal person. I can't tell if it's a goof or not.
