CyberCity is a 1:87 (HO) scale "miniaturized physical city" designed to simulate "the best efforts of a well-funded terrorist organization or other cyber attacker trying to control city assets".

The extra 'h' is for 'HO scale'. Try adding it to any YouTube video to miniaturize it!

This was really interesting, thanks! It's fascinating and insightful to get an idea of the resources inherent in code, but not obvious to those of us not literate in it. It's crazy that there's a whole world that I visit and interact with daily, but can't really read.

This is amazing. When they went from "this runs real banking software" to "also we have a functional missile battery" my jaw kind of dropped.

I used to be a SANS member back in the day when I had money for stuff like that. They are a REALLY good informational and training resource.

if their audience is military, kinetic is military code talk for weapons (more-or-less). For example you hear talk of military drones or UAV and there's disclaimers like "only non-kinetic systems/payloads are on board" -- meaning nothing that goes kaboom.
So they're trying to say "yeah, no conventional weapons, but things that can be weaponized".
