djc steps down from evolt.org After years of insanely large amounts of contributions that sustained the community, Daniel J. Cody (djc) decides he needs to move on to other things. Who will pick up the slack? I guess we'll see.
Man, another one of those "I was there moments". Evolt and [thelist] were a big part of my life after the webmonkey rebellion ('we own your posts') took place. I've met some great friends through Evolt, I hope it lives on. I hope Dan finds his voice, he's a kickass codemonkey.

God is dead....er, i mean, I'm sad to see it come to this. Being a member of evolt for almost 3 years now, I've seen a lot happen and a lot not happen. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not overly enthusiastic with the way things are going over at evolt.org, especially now that djc is no longer with us. You're a good man Dan. I still wonder how you waded through all the shit, flames, and personal attacks all these years and still retain your sanity. Dan deserves a lot more credit than some will give him. We're going to miss you buddy......
