BUTTZZ

Summer Luvin by the Buttzz. Punk/garage/rock from Bloomington, Indiana. Buttzz by the Buttzz at Buttzz Bandcamp. Hat tip to Iggy Confidential.
This sounds so much like the band I was in -- the only band I was ever in -- in college that I can hardly stand it. It's like listening to something an alternative universe version of me did when he was young, so I don't know what's coming until it comes and then I immediately think "I remember that!"

Plus they're in Bloomington Indiana, and just yesterday someone I know sent me a listing for a beautiful one-owner mid-century modern home for sale in Bloomington that I can afford, and I don't think I've thought about Indiana -- never mind Bloomington -- for many, many years.
I wonder what the third Bloomin' shoe is going to be.

ha ha dave, this? Guessing after this successful social media campaign, it might not be 350k any more.
Bloomington's my hometown, and I have forty years of ties to the heritage of making this kinda music there, right there. Never heard of these guys. That's AWESOME. This stuff is great.
My California-born wife would never, ever, ever move east. I hate the bugs, the snow, the humidity and the politics. It's great that Bton still offers space for this stuff, in the room I helped hack out. I'm unlikely to move back even in old age.

Lived in Indiana for sixteen years and balked at anything over 200k, even if it was in the most cultural spot in the state (yay Indy's giving it a run for its money).
After four years in California 350k seems like a dream...and I'd demand that I'd get to keep the latch-hook in that one bedroom.
(did not intend to hijack thread - more buttzz please)

This immediately reminded me of Summer Girl by the White Wires.
