Although Jax’s boss points out that occasionally his employee will eat a customer’s stamp, but that’s part of a risk you take when you let a dog lick your stamp.
lol that’s what you get for hiring a Labrador- those scamps will eat anything!

Man, that site sure has a lengthy anti-science section. As well as being extremely religious. Not going to read more but it kinda merits a DQ in my book.

I read the site name as "the pooch times" which seemed perfect.
Such a good boy Jax!

Hah, yeah, why is the Epoch Times reporting on dogs in post offices -- how does this advance their usual position?
I regret only that the post office doesn't have a feline employee as well.

But, unless I'm mistaken, "licky" British stamps started being replaced with self-adhesive (peel-and-stick) ones in 2000, and the last standard stamp to be routinely sold in a "licky" variety was in 2009. I can't remember the last time I saw a stamp that needed licking.
Still, I'm sure that this helpful pooch can be kept busy with envelope seals.

Who's a good civil servant? Jaxy is a good civil servant!
My dear departed cat Steve used to hang around with her tongue sticking out, and I'd tease her about putting her to work licking stamps.

One of my mom and stepdad's cats back in the day would lick stamps for her while she was paying bills — thanks so much for reminding me, as I'd forgotten that memory.
