A great music editor passes on.

A great music editor passes on. Timothy White, editor-in-chief of Billboard Magazine, died suddenly of a heart attack today. He was a fixture of music journalism. He and his bow-tie will be missed.
Damn shame. He was still a young guy.
Have to say I always found his writing style a bit over the top but there was no denying this guy's knowledge of music. Also wrote a great book on the Beach Boys.
