Yeah, I don't know what you call parody so good that you appreciate it even if you don't know the thing being parodied that well, but this is definitely that.

Same. For me, it's a lot like IFC's Documentary Now! where I don't think I've actually seen any of the parodied documentaries all the way through but can identify about 80% of which ones they're parodying.

I love these for both the amount of depth and detail they go into creating something that captures the look and feel of a speedrun video and also the strong implication that the best thing to do with American Dad is skip through it as quickly as possible.
