Well this is utterly delightful and not at all what I expected.

Will Schwalbe does an admirable job of illustrating some of the highlights.

This is a wonderful book. The message here is that each of us, sitting in our room, are surrounded by stories, and we could make a similar trip discovering these stories we may have never told ourselves or anyone else. Another example is An Annotated Topography of Chance by Daniel Spoerri. In that book we learn about all the stories that were found on his kitchen table on October 17, 1961 at 3:47 pm. Spoerri is most famous for his "snare-pictures" where he would capture and fix all the objects, for example on a table top, and then hang the table top on the wall as art. All that stuff around you, which you have either been just seeing or ignoring all this time can come back to life with just a change of your point of view.

Has anyone here seen Tatami Galaxy? This makes me want to rewatch it, I wonder if it was inspired by this book
