In related viewing, the "Technique Critique" from Wired is also very satisfying, perhaps most so this series of videos from an accent coach breaking down the accent performances of famous actors.

I just watched the Willem Dafoe one and it was great and I'm looking forward to hunkering down and watching the rest of these later on today. Thanks so much for this post!

Mark Wahlberg's name should never be mentioned without noting that he perpetrated numerous racist attacks that left victims badly injured, and never fully apologized for these crimes.

It's fascinating to me to watch how these actors interact with the camera / interviewer for these (I'm assuming there's another person there to whom they're talking). I've just watched the Kristen Bell and Scarlet Johansson bits, and their "interview personalities" couldn't be more different. Kristen's body language is open, she's speaking directly to the person and looking forward the whole time. Scarlet is more closed and spends a lot of time talking kind of down into her lap or off to the side.
Just yesterday, I found Vanity Fair's series with voice actors critiquing YouTube videos of people doing their voices (John DiMaggio critiquing Bender impressions, for example). Between that and this post today, I am 100% on board with Vanity Fair's YouTube channel.
