Given that Musk has reopened the Freemont factory in defiance of the local and state government - fuck Musk, and we need to stop sugarcoating the fact that he is a horrible person who sees himself above the law.

It's very optimistic of you to say that he only thinks he's above the law.

I don't even have to look in order to bet my life that places like HackerNews have comments along the lines of "if x many workers have to die, then so be it..." all over the place. That's what dangerous about Musk: He isn't just a dumbass, who can't deliver, posing as some sort of genius, he has thousands and thousands of enablers around him that have tied their identity and worldview to the concept that Musk is some sort of mix of Tony Stark and Reed Richards. It's literally the same type of people that really latch onto Trump, but perhaps they are too craven to actually publicly vote Republican.

And if you think I'm being hyperbolic, 100% of every story about Tesla's factory safety issues has many comments saying that auto workers should be proud to sacrifice their bodies to further Elon's vision. Having them die from Covid-19 really is just the same thing.

Covid-19 is just disrupting Tesla's business model.

it's like Uber, for virions.

Also, isn’t Joe Rogan toxic trash? I didn’t that kind of content was okay here.

That was pretty amusing. It’s like Elon finally felt at peace with the world.

I recognize that we need to move toward large-scale adoption of electronic vehicles and that we need to make that move sooner rather than later. I just wish the public face of that movement wasn’t the worst person making cars for the worst people.

My favorite Tesla fact for 2020: Because the prices quoted to Tesla were so astronomically high, Elon has decided to forgo a “Directors and Officers” insurance policy. He will instead pay out of pocket to cover any expense that might arise if someone like a major stockholkder, oh, I dunno... sues one of the Directors and/or officers of Tesla for doing BATSHIT STUFF IN PUBLIC.

So.
Much.
Popcorn.

Yes Joe Rogan is SO toxic he claims he is a friend of Alex Jones, has Jones on his show and the result became Jones claiming he wanted to now fight Rogan over how that show went. Rogan then has on Jordan Petterson and due to the interview Petterson felt he had to make an almost 12 minute video explaining how he totally was not rhetorically painted into a corner and had to say yes to not look a fool.

He's SO toxic he went off on a trans woman on how the previous gender gave her an advantage in the wrestling game.

He's SO toxic he has people like Kyle Kulinski, Jimmy Dore, and the Rising crew on his show doing toxic things like not 100% backing the saviour of the Republic - Joe Biden.

He's SO toxic he's leaving YouTube before he's thrown off if news reports are to be believed.
