Can we maybe have an informal rule here that any positive post about Alex not start with "Alex Trebek, longtime host of Jeopardy..."? I about had a heart attack when I scanned the front page this morning and saw this post.

RIP Regis Philbin, though; this clip (from the 2018 documentary Game Changers) was uploaded to YouTube last month, the day after the 88-year-old died of natural causes.

Goddamnit, I almost had a coronary midway through reading the first sentence. I wish we could reserve the formula "[Beloved Public Figure], longtime [what they are famous for], ..." for obituary posts
