Well that's a pretty sweet story.
Also I like that the dad found the puppy when he went there "to look at chickens." 'Cause who doesn't sometimes just wanna go look at some chickens. Me? Usually I just google image search.

I love shelter adoption stories where someone was intending to look at completely different animals than they one they end up adopting. This story is particularly sweet, thank you for sharing it!
