What about Blinky?

What about Blinky? (Link to PDF) CA Governor's candidate Bill Simon is taking an interesting approach in his campaign to appeal to a generation... a generation of Simpson fans. In this PDF, he compares incumbent Grey Davis to Mr. Burns... and how Blinky brought down Mr. Burns' campaign.
That's pretty funny (if I lived in CA my sentiments would pretty well mirror RakDaddy's), but I can't find how to get there from the home page. Is this a buried link/ easter egg unearthed? Or am I being unobservant again?

That's embarassingly lame.

For those who aren’t Simpson’s aficionados, when Mr. Burns ran for governor, his campaign was derailed by Blinky the three-eyed fish. Blinky grew the third eye growing up in waters polluted by Mr. Burns’ nuclear power plant. Who knows how many extra eyes Blinky might grow living in waters polluted by Gray Davis.Please. I don't know either of the politicians involved, but based on this document, there is no way I would vote for either of them.

From the main page, you'd click "Women with Simon" and its on the lower left of the page... but the Blinky picture is now missing, and I wonder if the pdf is soon to follow...
I'm mirroring it on my site should it be removed...

Heh. Plus he's got an extra apostrophe in Simpsons. Someone should really spell-check for him.

Ooh, good point, I shouldn't vote for Davis because of his "blue shirt, manicured hair and pale skin" what a deal breaker!

I agree with Rak-Daddy and hackly_fracture. I don't see how I could possibly vote for either of these losers. I think I'll vote for the Green Party this time.

This is so totally wrong. If anything, Simon is like Burns. Grey Davis is more like Troy McClure. "You might remember me from such political fuckups as the California Energy Crisis"

When Road To Spingfield had a poll to determine the best Simpsons' supporting character, Burns got the most votes. So this strategy could backfire.

Oho! It looks like those of us who want to vote third party this year may not be hosed after all! Looks like Simon just had his ass handed to him!
No matter what kind of spin his camp may put on this, Simon is about to get pilloried in the court of public opinion. Corporate shenanigans are this election year's blowjobs.

Heh heh... well I got word that someone from the Sacramento News and Review called Fox about this to do an article which is why things were hastily removed. The picture and link on the main page are missing, but the file is still there...

This is the first race I've ever voted in that both candidates suck so badly that I wanna vote for the losing one. Then I can complain about the winner and honestly say I didn't vote for the bastard.

On the other hand, there's still no way in hell I'm going to vote for Simon.
On yet another hand, I still don't want to vote for Davis again.
I might as well write in "Blinky" for Governor this fall...
