Kind of perfect for Halloween, Pokey LaFarge's Fuck Me Up off his new album Rock Bottom Rhapsody is wicked good (but the video is a wee bit intense, so if you're feeling like everything is too much, you may want to wait until a time you just need something to eff you up, ... because hell, eventually everyone feels like it).

(Another great track is Bluebird, but the whole album is very satisfying.) Pokey previously.

I love Pokey LeFarge, but he's about the last person I'd have expected to opt for a Waitsian rejig like this. That's not to say it's bad, just ... unexpected.
