I like the Simpsons.
Just yesterday, Matt Groenig (creator of The Simpsons)declared Homer Simpson is Canadian. Today another article about Ned Flanders.
Could this have ANYTHING to do with the Simpsons DVD release today?!? hmmm....

Anybody else remember about 10 years ago when The Simpsons (Bart in particular) was the Christian community's demon du jour -- right before Beavis and Butthead and later Marilyn Manson took that top spot?

I have long suspected that the Simpsons - especially through the writers - is pushing a Christian perspective... this used to seem rather farfetched to me, but then I started counting how many of the episodes are centered around a religious theme - almost always Christian...
